Mr. Blitz is THE ambassador for Hip Hop in the UK. With two weekly radio shows on Kiss FM, a role as a presenter on Kiss TV, a Ministry of Sound residency, and columns in Touch, Hip Hop connection and iDJ, Blitz has cemented his place as one of the most influential figures in UK music.
Shortee has already had a great year in 2005 with 2 MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) nominations as well as a nomination at the Urban Music Awards for The Blitz Power Mix, his new Saturday Night show on Kiss 100.
All this following his double awards success in 2003; winning the MOBO Award for Best UK Club DJ and the Sony Radio Award for Best Specialist show, for his renowned KISS FM Wednesday night Hip Hop show.
Since making the big time, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip hop and R&B including Jay-Z, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, Cypress Hill, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Mariah Carey, Lil Kim, Missy Elliott and Jazzy Jeff.
It is the ability to mix something old with something new; underground beats with R&B that characterize his club and radio sets.
