Public holidays and Cyprus is a match made in heaven. The next three working weeks are going to be short and sweet for many people in Cyprus. The current week is 4 days, the next only 3 and the one after that again 3 (for some). It’s the perfect opportunity to finally find the time to play some of the fantastic games that have been released in the first quarter of 2010.
If you are planning to travel during this period then this week’s releases include some tasty handheld titles. There is N+ (PSP, DS) which is a great platform/puzzle game that was first released on XBLA. For the otaku (or just nerds), there is Infinite Space (DS, Japanese RPG) and of course Pokemon (DS). No better opportunity to catch’em all!
Continuing the otaku theme is Resonance of Fate (360, PS3) which is a strategy RPG for the hardcore crowd. There is also Blaz Blue: Calamity Trigger (360, PS3), a 2D fighting game, which i have read nothing about but is receiving some good review scores.
Last and certainly not least is Just Cause 2 (360, PS3, PC), an open world game where you can complete missions in many different and exciting ways. I have seen some crazy gameplay footage of this game and it looks really, really good. Link 1, Link 2 and Link 3.
Just Cause 2 is game of the week.
