If you missed out on Colin McRae: Dirt 2 (PS3, 360) which was released last week there are two more racing games this week. Motorstorm: Arctic Edge (PSP) and Need for Speed: Shift (PS3, 360, PSP, PC) which have received somewhat lukewarm reviews. But both franchises do have their dedicated fans.
Next up two PC releases of games that have already been released on consoles. The allegedly excellent Batman: Arkham Asylum (last week’s game of the week) and Red Faction: Guerrilla. Two excellent options if you are a PC gamer.
Finally, we come to the game of the week, Trine (PSN). Already released on the PC it will this week find its way to the PSN. It supports local co-op (up to 3) so invite a couple of friends and get some summer leftover beers out of the fridge.
I leave you with this line from the Eurogamer review (8/10)
If the game is good, honest fun when played solo, it’s a blast with two players and a sublime joy with three.
