Back in May 2008, we launched the Cyprus Events application on Facebook. Not only was this the first Cyprus-based application on the platform, but also became a virtual tool for thousands of event seekers. Not only could users find the upcoming events island-wide, but they could also submit events they were invited to.
Now, we take the reach one step further…
We are proud to announce our Upcoming Events panels. Our first example of these panels can be seen on the very popular CyprusLikeThis.com, which is a website devoted to cataloguing everything there is to know about Cyprus, its companies and their products and services.
From their homepage, users can see the next 5 upcoming events from our database, or click to see a list of the next 20 upcoming events stored in our database. And on every other page a prominent block showing the number of upcoming events for the next 7 days can be found.
