The EAC announced yesterday that they have managed to repair and connect an Emergency Startup Unit in the Vassilikos power station, adding a very needed 35 MW to our power grid.
The repair took a short 5.5 weeks since the devastating explosion, whilst EU officials put the minimum repair times at over 3 months.
We would like to also thank the personnel involved with the repairs that begun the day of the explosion and spanned through the whole of August, even the 15th.
With power-cuts being minimized due to many organizations being closed for holidays, and this new repair, could this be the beginning of the end of the power-problem?
