Erich Bogatzky is co-founder of ‘minimood’, a new minimal label, featuring artists as Fusiphorm, Seuil, Koljah, So Inagawa and others. The label aims at discovering and supporting talented unknown artists, bringing them together with up-coming producers, inspiring fruitful collaborations.
Erich Bogatzky was born and raised in Berlin where he became fascinated by electronic music from its early beginnings. Inspired by the city’s uncomparable drive in the 90s and its legendary clubs like Tresor, E-Werk and WMF he started DJing in 1995. But it wasn’t until around 2000 that his passion turned more professional. Today he counts numerous cities on his booking map: Berlin, Beirut, London, Paris, Milan, Geneva, Lisbon, Nice, Lausanne, Cologne, etc., having played along-side artists like M.A.N.D.Y., Kiki, Hell, Ewan Pearson, Patrick Chardronnet, Phonique, David Duriez, Jeniffer Cardini, Sasse, Dinky, and many more.
Charalambos is the mind behind the project CHP.
Born in Cyprus 3/08/1978, his full name is Charalambos Pieris and being a follower of
electronic music from a very young age his 1st steps into production began in the year 2001.
Charalambos started to show more interest specifically in House music, so he released a couple of tracks under the name ‘CHP’… With a need to explore the alternative and underground paths of the favourable genres, the name ‘CLAW’ followed as so did the production of a split album along with various releases in different labels across the world.
Under the project CLAW, he produces music which is powerful and sensational with dark and futuristic sounds. Charalambos still produces chill out and downbeat music under the name CHP with various releases in different compilations. CHP project has no boundaries according to music production. Music style varies from chillout / downbeat to house and electro! According to him most of the influences come from what happens in everyday life; ranging from the smallest to the largest things.
