  • Soccer : Youth Training Camp Comes to an End

    The four day training camp that took place at the THOI Lakatamia stadium has come to an end.
    The training camp in which 53 youngsters between the ages of 9 and 16 spent two 2 hour sessions a day under the guidance of 4 coaches from abroad, including Derek Langley who is Local Recruitment Officer for Manchester United, was organised by Antonakis Tsiaklis, an ex-Omonia Football Club player turned youth soccer coach.

    You guys and girls have to see these clips… For those of you who have never been fortunate enough to see or even hear about the legendary Japanese game show known as Takeshi’s Castle, its a show in which 100 contestants struggle through almost impossible challenges in order to almost always get eliminated from the competition in the final round.

    But what is even funnier than the TV show of Japanese people running into walls and being run over by large fake boulders, is the OLD SCHOOL episodes from good ol’1984 where they played great games such as Binocular Soccer and Stuffed Animal Rugby
