Whitesnake @ Eleftheria Stadium (Nicosia)

The English band, Whitesnake, founded by ex-band-member of Deep Purple, David Coverdale, will be performing in Cyprus as part of their 2008 world tour; which will see the stages of Japan, Germany and Switzerland.
Date : 14 November 2008
Venue : Palais Des Sport (Spyros Kyprianou Arena), Limassol Eleftheria Stadium, Nicosia, Cyprus (see comments)
Tickets go on sale on October 8th, at the following locations:
- Octagono Kiosk,Traffic Music Store and Megaland (Nicosia)
- Musical Paradise and Brent Cross (Limassol)
- Acupella (Larnaka)
- Calypso Music Store (Paphos).
- Tickets can also be purchased online, at www.whitesnakecy.com.
Prices start at 42 Euro for Arena tickets, to 50 Euro for seated tickets and 85 Euro for a limited number of VIP tickets. For information, call 77 77 29 39.

it appears you’re right, but when we were notified 7 days ago it was listed as being in Limassol, once again a huge event is being moved from Palais de Sport to Eleftheria Stadium, hope its not going to become a habit. :s

One small issue: their official site doesn’t say anything about Limassol yet! Maybe it’s not updated at this moment. Anyway, Nicosia is mentioned on their tour list:
