Even though blockaded from the rest of the world Cuba manages to export to the world favorable musical sounds that are entrapped in our hearts. Motivated by their rights to life and music, the most famous group Son Cubanos, challenges us into a unique musical trip in March in a solo concert of the European Limassol Festival. Rene Maceo, the international famous Cuban singer and his “company” are all graduates with the higher praises of the Conservatorium of Havana, but are especially born and raised in the traditional music school of the streets. The virtuoso band will present a vast repertoire of popular Cuban music and dance styles which include salsa, son, rumba, mambo, and cha-cha-cha.
