Singing in the Rain…

For months Cyprus has been praying for rain… Maybe its a Christmas present from above? Or just a bit of a tease before another dry spell?

Driving early this morning when the showers poured down, the roads became small rapids, and I expected to see canoes sailing past, but all I saw was mopeds, rubbish bins and sometimes old ladies, being swooped away by the small rivers forming accross Limassol.

But the main thing is… its raining! Well it was at time of writing. So maybe the Water Crisis in Cyprus will be over soon. What do you think?
