I always have problem travelling to UK so I take my passport with me.
This issue reveals our low standards of security and organization.
As I know, this problem exists more than 2 years.

i didn’t have any problems flying to the UK, or flying back for that matter.
I was asked to show my army papers in Cyprus.. but they would have asked me even with my passport..
Walked straight through..

i personally dont like the fact that i had to do a military service stint to get a ‘European ID’ that leads me to be interrogated at the border like a refugee :p
