There is a festival called Explosion of Styles taking place on 2nd of August at the “Αίθουσα Πολιτιστικών Εκδηλώσεων“ (Pano Polemidia) [there is a map on the back of the flyer, attached] at 15:00. It will comprise of 4 dance competitions with money awards, trophies and gift vouchers. The types of competition will include 4vs4 bboy battles, a stand up competition with different styles , ‘Janmming on the Beat’ and ‘Longest powermoves’ competitions.
The main judges will be zerow from dead prezz in Athens ( the best breakdancer in 2007 at the competition “Battle of the Best – Greece”), Loucas the winner of ‘So you think you can dance’ on mega tv and J-Styles of Liquid Fire/Rebeldancers.
The best dancers from all of Cyprus will try out their skills in front of the critics/judges and the public.
There will be bboy shop selling t-shirts, caps and other accessories. For the dancers, the competition will be filmed and the videos will be distributed via the official webpages.
