DJ Razor is without any doubt one of the most recognised and successful Cypriot urban DJ’s. From a very young age his love for music was manifested with enthusiasm when he started of practicing the DJ profession as a hobby at the age of 14 at various house parties. Even though he loved urban music more than any other genre, this was not the main trend of choice in his hometown in Nicosia at the time and so he first established himself as a trance/house DJ at the age of 16 where he started showcasing his skills. In 2003 he started DJing in Ayia Napa in the popular Coyotes venue, where for the first time he was able to play the urban music he truly enjoyed. When the urban scene exploded on the island DJ Razor moved in its intense rhythms by receiving non-stop bookings and effectively DJing in many different Clubs in Ayia Napa, Paphos as well as in the capital, Nicosia.

When DJ Razor moved to the UK in 2004 to finish his law degree, he gained more experience, knowledge and skills around the club scene. He began to DJ in clubs in the UK, mostly in Brighton, but also in Eastbourne and London. Moreover, during all his frequent returns to Cyprus, in the winter as well as in the summer months, he was sought after as a DJ guaranteed to entertain large crowds of people all over Nicosia. In the summer of 2005 he became co-resident in the most recognized urban club in Cyprus, Club Black n White alongside Master Melfin and partner DJ Spider. Moreover, he was granted his own nights at one of the island’s most well-known bar, Havana (Ayia Napa) and also gave exclusive sets throughout the week in Club Gallery (Paphos), Club Lush (Nicosia), Club Martinis (Nicosia) and Club Scorpios (Nicosia).

2006/07 was the year DJ Razor became the sole resident in Club Black n White and at the same time he signed a contract with the biggest urban club in Cyprus, Club Bling. Additionally, he is the sole resident at Sky Bar (Ayia Napa) which is the perfect place for a raver’s pre-party. His huge success in the popular vacation dome of Ayia Napa has therefore rightfully earned him the nickname, ‘Ayia Napa’s Finest’.

DJ Razor has performed in Cyprus, the UK, Greece, and in the USA (California) and will soon be performing in Nigeria, Lebanon and Dubai. He has performed under the most popular club brands including Twice As Nice, Fresh n Funky, Peaches n Cream, Soultrain and many more. His residency in Black n White allowed him to play alongside some of UK’s top artists and DJs, including Kele Le Roc, Shortie Blitz, Tim Westwood, Hanif, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Rampage, Damage, Masterstepz and the legendary Melfin and Net (R.I.P.).
