DJ BLEND has had a passion for music since a very young age. He started his career in his hometown Bournemouth in the late nineties maintaining a residency of 5 years at one of the town’s most prestigious club’s, DNA. The resident spot saw him entertain hundreds of local’s week in and week out with his events such as “Flaunt” and “Fusion”. With his name then established around Bournemouth, DJ Blend also graced the decks at all other respectable venues such as Elements, K Bar, Bliss, and where it all started Alcatraz Club.

In 2006 DJ Blend was given the opportunity to DJ across seas in the Mediterranean clubbing spot of Ayia Napa! His positive attitude and crowd pleasing ability took him to Jurassic Bar, and ever further from his comfort zone of Bournemouth DJ Blend was offered the resident spot at Ayia Napa’s most sought after venue – The Castle Club that holds over 4000 people! During his residency at the Castle Club, DJ Blend has worked with the hottest names in the industry including G Child (1Xtra BBC/ Def Jam UK), Ras Kwame (Radio 1/ 1Xtra BBC)

With his success over seas DJ Blend was called back to Bournemouth to kick start the winter events starting with a re-launch of Flaunt at DNA Bar where he gave the punters a look at how things are done in Ayia Napa!
2007 took Blend to Bliss Bar on Sunday’s, and Club Censo on Tuesday’s as he hosted the biggest International Parties in Bournemouth, “Taboo” and “Spice” and played alongside DJ Mark Devlin (Editor Blues & Soul Magazine, Oxford 107.9FM) for the launch of his new book “Tails from the Flipside”

The positive comments and feedback of his time in Ayia Napa in 2006 led to DJ Blend’s second term as resident DJ at The Castle Club in 2007, and becoming the new DJ and Host at one of Napa’s most established bars, Monkey Business. 2007 also took DJ Blend to Cyprus’ biggest urban club “Bling” in Nicosia, and has earned himself a Radio show on Energy 107.6 FM playing out every Sunday Night!

Now based in Cyprus, DJ Blend has joined forces with Europe’s finest djs and mcs “THE NAPA CARTEL”, they have dominated the club scene around Cyprus, smashing some of the best clubs in the country including Basement Club in Limassol and holding road block events at Club Bling in Nicosia !
With his name circulating around the club industry DJ Blend has become an official representative for Def Jam UK, promoting some of the biggest Hip Hop & R&B names in the world!

2008 looks promising for DJ Blend as he returns to The Castle Club for a third year, launching his new club events in June, and with solid contacts in Sweden, Greece and Shanghai, China DJ Blend is certainly clocking up his air miles this year !!
