From the Cyprus Rugby Federation :

On Saturday 6th March, the Cyprus National Rugby side, affectionately know as the Moufflons, take on the Azerbaijan national side as part of the European Nations Cup Division 3D. The match is at the Paphiako Stadium in Paphos and kicks off at 2.30 pm.

The National side have a very impressive record of only one defeat in their last 10 international matches, and will be very keen to maintain their present 100% record in this division.

In the first match played in Baku, The Azeri’s played a very physical and somewhat aggressive game leading to their captain being cited for dangerous play. He was subsequently banned for 3 months. But Cyprus, despite collecting many injuries, kept their discipline and convincingly beat the Azeri by 38-3.

Should the Cyprus National team win, them they go top of the league. The final game in this group is against the equally powerful Bosnia Herzegovina side to be played at the Paphiako Stadium Paphos on 27th march 2010. The winner of that match will get automatic promotion to Division 3C.
